Joel Looper is an adjunct professor in Baylor University’s Baylor Interdisciplinary Core and an editor at the Common Politic. He holds a Ph.D. in Divinity from the University of Aberdeen, and a revised form of his dissertation became Bonhoeffer’s America: A Land Without Reformation (Baylor University Press). He is a member of the American Academy of Religion, the Society of Classical Learning, and the International Bonhoeffer Society, and his work appears frequently in academic journals and various popular outlets.
